Hydraulic System


How many of us are really interested on science and Technology?
Lots of invention on technologies  are remarkable useful on industries and one of the mind blowing innovation in Engineering history is Fluid Mechanism. 


As we everyone studied the "Pascal law" on school time which is the core principle of fluid mechanism, 
Pascal Law
Pascal Law: A pressure change at any point in a confined in compressible fluid is transmitted throughout the fluid such that the same change occurs everywhere.

Every hydraulic machine,equipment and plant are operating on based on this Pascal principle.
Generally,In Hydraulic machine one hyd.pump creates the continues flow of hydraulic oil on required pressure and pressurized incomprehensible hydraulic oil passes to different valve through which unwanted pressure and flow amount of oil is controlled and finally passes to apply force on required job. one of the best example of Hydraulic system is on Hydraulic Excavators

Not only on Excavators even in your Bikes ,Cars ,Trucks and almost in every vehicle this mechanism  is install for different different works.

On Bikes : Disc Brakes,When you apply breaks than one plunger moves through which break oil on master cylinder flows towards the disc pad which produce friction on disc which cause the breaking on wheel,




On Cars : In luxurious cars, Breaks,Clutch and Power Steering all are worked on hydraulic system.When you apply clutch to disengage from engine ,one plunger from master cylinder press the fluid towards engage or disengage clutch to the engine.

Power Steering:When the steering wheel is turned, a hydraulic pump, which draws power from the vehicle’s engine, starts to pump hydraulic fluid through the system’s lines. This high-pressure hydraulic fluid then enters a cylinder and exerts force on the cylinder piston. This piston then pushes the hydraulic fluid ahead of it through the system’s lines, which in turn exerts pressure on the rack and pinion, coupling arrangement, multiplying the input force several times and resulting in the rotation of the vehicle’s front wheels.

What is Mechanical ?


Mechanical is a science branch that combines physics and mathematics principles with materials science to design, analyze, manufacture, and maintain mechanical systems.
It is one of the oldest and broadest of the engineering branches.

The mechanical field requires an understanding of core areas including mechanics,dynamics,
thermodynamics, materials science, structural analysis, and electricity.

Mechanical engineering emerged as a field during the Industrial Revolution in Europe in the 18th century; however, its development can be traced back several thousand years around the world. In the 19th century, developments in physics led to the development of mechanical engineering science. The field has continually evolved to incorporate advancements; today mechanical engineers are pursuing developments in such areas as composites, mechatronics, and nanotechnology. It also overlaps with aerospace engineering, metallurgical engineering, civil engineering,electrical engineering, manufacturing engineering, chemical engineering, industrial engineering, and other 
engineering disciplines to varying amounts. Mechanical engineers may also work in the field of biomedical engineering, specifically with biomechanics, transport phenomena, biomechatronics, bionanotechnology, and modelling of biological systems.


 Mechanical Machine invented on ancient time which mechanism are still very use on our daily life.


  1. The wedge and the inclined plane (ramp) were known since prehistoric times
  2. The wheel, along with the wheel and axle mechanism, was invented in Mesopotamia (modern Iraq)
  3. The lever mechanism first appeared around 5,000 years ago in the Near East, where it was used in a simple balance scale,
  4.  The lever was also used in the water-lifting device, the first crane machine,

Mechanical Field is very vast on itself and interesting. As i belong to Nepal i prefer to educated myself on industries related machines and technology  because lot of development is necessary here in trade and business,we totally depended on our neighbors countries.

A trade deficit is major cause of economic problems of any nation so,to defect this barriers we need to produce product that we can export other countries for that we need to develop our industries sectors.
With proper management,passionate administration and Skilled manpower with well equipped machine and tools,we can produce many things that we were importing from others. OK this much for today next day we learn about machine that helps on industrial revolution.
